Friday book group

Join in on Zoom with other women each Friday from 10:00 am to 11:30 a.m. Our books are suggested by members and we discuss a pre-set number of chapters from an assortment of thoughtful books, fiction and nonfiction, newer and older. The person who has read and recommended the book usually becomes the facilitator of the discussion. Feel free to come as often or as little as suits your tastes and schedules.

The book group has a long history at St. Elizabeth’s Church, and over the years its members have included young women, women in mid-life, and some whose advancing years have granted them a perspective the rest of us can only hope to attain. Some women join the group when they have young children at home and crave a morning of adult conversation, some women are between jobs, some are retired, and some have jobs with enough flexibility to allow them a couple of hours on Friday mornings to participate in a book discussion group. All are welcome.
