I'm New
From the Rector
Welcome to St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church of Ridgewood! We’re so glad you found your way to this page. I’m Andy Olivo, the Rector (Senior Priest) of St. Elizabeth’s, and I want you to know first and foremost that there is a place for you here. We invite you to drop by on a Sunday morning for worship—we will have a pew ready for you!
St. Elizabeth’s was founded in 1923 and we are located in the midst of a residential neighborhood in upper Ridgewood. For over 100 years, this parish has been a place for Christians to gather to worship God, love and serve our neighbors, and support our fellow parishioners. We truly are a diverse, intergenerational parish family, which is why we like to say “Welcome home” to all who come through our doors.
Whether you are looking for a church home, have questions about the Episcopal faith, or are simply curious about what we’re up to here, we would love to get to know you better. If you’d like to learn more about St. Elizabeth’s, fill out the form below or reach out to us in the Parish Office at 201-444-2299 or info@stesrigewood.org. If you would like to speak directly with a priest, please reach out to me at aolivo@stesdridgewood.org or to the Rev. Melina Dezhbod, Assistant Rector for Church Growth, at mdezhbod@stesridgewood.org.
I sincerely hope you will always find St. Elizabeth’s to be a warm and welcoming community of faith. I look forward to seeing you soon.
Faithfully yours in Christ,
The Rev. D. Andrew Olivo
