Welcome to

St. Elizabeth's

Welcome
Home

Welcome to St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church of Ridgewood. At St. Elizabeth’s our motto is “Welcome home” and that’s how we hope every person feels when they walk through our doors or join us online for services. We gather weekly to pray, sing, worship, and to grow in faith together. We are steeped in the Anglican and Episcopal traditions that stretch back hundreds of years, all the while striving to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in the 21st century. We are a joyful, vibrant parish nestled in the Upper Ridgewood neighborhood but we draw members from all over northeast New Jersey. So whether you are new to the area or have lived here your entire life, we hope you will visit us soon. Don’t hesitate to reach out to the parish staff if you have questions about the church or any of our ministries. We look forward to saying “Welcome Home to St. Elizabeth’s” to you very soon!

28th Annual Advent Concert

The Advent Concert with our Senior Choir, Cantare, Joyful Noise and chamber orchestra will be Sunday, December 8th at 4:00 pm. Highlights include works by Michael Praetorius, Benjamin Britten, Cecilia McDowall, John Rutter, & Antonio Vivaldi, with arrangements of seasonal favorites by Dan Forrest, John Rutter and David Willcocks. The concert is free, though we are very grateful for donations. No tickets are required with seating on a first-come basis. There will be a reception following the concert.  Dress may be casual and children who can sit and listen to music for an hour are most welcome.  We usually suggest that children should be six years or older.  If your child loves music and is a little younger, please know that they are welcome.  Childcare will also be available.  The Advent Concert program runs about 1 hour and is a wonderful opportunity to bring friends and family to St. Elizabeth’s for this highlight of our choral season!

Prayer List

You can now add a name to the prayer list online! We renew the prayer list for Lent, Pentecost, and Advent. We are currently running our Advent prayer list. You can still call the office if you would like to add/remove a name as well.

Sunday Service

We offer one service at 10:00 a.m.
which is then followed by a coffee hour in the parish hall

“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the lord, and he will repay him for his deed.”
