Through Monday, September 1, the Church Office summer hours will be Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Staff and Vestry News
Because of her new responsibilities on the staff as Associate for Christian Education, Jenn Liljegren has stepped down from the Vestry to which she was elected at St. Elizabeth's Annual Meeting this past January. It is the responsibility of the Vestry to fill unexpired terms until the next Annual Meeting; at their June 18 meeting they elected Denise Vollkommer to fill the position vacated by Jenn's resignation.
September - June Worship Schedule
A service of Holy Eucharist, Rite I, is offered each Sunday at 8 a.m. The second service begins at 10:00 a.m. and is a rotating schedule of worship services: Holy Eucharist Rite I, Holy Eucharist Rite II and Morning Prayer Rite I. Church School and Children's Chapel services are held in conjunction with the 10 a.m. service, as is nursery care.

Notes for the Summer
Clergy Vacation Dates At least one priest will be available throughout the summer at St. Elizabeth’s.
John Hartnett will be on vacation through July 30. His sabbatical dates are August 28 – December 29.
Joan Conley will be away August 1 – August 17.
Cathy Quinn is away through August 21.
Dressing for the Weather Especially in the warmer months, please feel free to come to church in clothes suitable for the season and the occasion.
Iced Tea and Lemonade Hospitality Hour is iced tea and lemonade in the Courtyard, weather permitting. We need volunteers to host these times of fellowship through August 31. Please sign up on Sundays on the special summer sign-up board in the Parish Hall or check in with the Church Office (201-444-2299).
Sunday Services in the Summer The 8 a.m. service will continue to be a celebration of Holy Eucharist according to Rite One of the Prayer Book. Through August 31, the second service begins at 9:30 a.m.
Summer Sundays for Young Children at St. Elizabeth's
- Nursery The nursery is open each Sunday during the summer months and is available throughout the service.
- Storytime/Craft On August 3, 10, and 17 we will be offering a special storytime and craft for ages 3-6 during the normal Sunday school hour. The bulletin will note the time during the service when you can walk your child to the hallway by the Church Office to meet the storytime teachers who will take the children to the kindergarten classroom. The program will end immediately following the service.
